Study visit by the Stara Zagora Youth Centre to the Braga Youth Centre
Between 5 and 7 November, the Braga Youth Centre hosted a study visit from the Stara Zagora Youth Centre, a member of the Council of Europe's Quality Label network. The main purpose of this visit was to promote the sharing of good practices, the exchange of experiences and the strengthening of European cooperation in the field of youth work.
The programme included presentations by the two youth centres in a round table format with institutional and political representatives from Stara Zagora, as well as representatives from the CJB and the IPDJ, and opportunities for dialogue and reflection on local and national models of youth participation.
The IPDJ highlighted the Cuida-te+ programme as an example of good practice in the field of national youth policies, while FAJUB played a central role in facilitating a session on youth participation and a co-creation activity involving all participants.
The visit ended with a session dedicated to human rights and a presentation inspired by the activities carried out by the Stara Zagora Youth Centre, which is entirely focused on promoting youth involvement and autonomy.
This initiative strengthened ties between youth centres and highlighted the value of European partnerships in developing sustainable, youth-centred projects.
